I. PRE-PRODUCTION

Our naturally developed “handwriting” corresponds to following modes:

Discursive storytelling modethat gives priority to information, facts and logic.
Poetic storytelling mode(Impressionistic) that is built up around audio visual poetic associations, less on a storyline or conventional narrative logic. Tend to be lyrical rather than didactic, poetic rather than argumentative.
Observational modefrom our point of view similar to Discursive but allowing viewers to reach whatever conclusions they may deduce. Less or no music used, no interviews, no scene arrangement of any kind, and no narration.
There are also modes like the Participatory mode where the filmmaker does interact with subjects rather than unobtrusively observe them. But this mode is less typical for business events, unless you plan to use moderator or attendant (Expository Documentary - address the spectators directly through an on-screen commentator or off-screen narration)
Hybrid mode may use characteristics from any mode to meet you specific goal.

II. PRODUCTION

When we reached agreement and only if we fully understand your needs we are ready to cover your event. Usually there is one chance to capture every detail therefore we have to align our understanding of goals to be reached properly.

Our style

Natural observational reportage with a little poetic is best way to proceed. We do not interfere to the process we capture real situation as it goes using ambient light and background. On request we can use flash light to reach different look, but inconspicuous way suits better this kind of photography.

Equipment

By default we use latest digital cameras, but or request as extra feature we can use also traditional analogue film cameras. This need to be discussed prior to the action. This is more for photo enthusiastic or to reach real old fashion look.

What you get | Editing

As a result you will get sets of storytelling pictures in full and web resolution in jpeg format. Each photo is edited to its final look. Special advanced editing like photo montages or any “photoshoping” is extra feature you can order separetely.

Our “handwriting”

As for photography, natural observational documentary is our key approach. No extra lights, minimal tripods and other distracting equipments used.
Beside basic info about timing and your goals we need to know some more details for video.

-think about the documentary mode that suit most your needs (need promo or capture details or facts from the event?)
-How much of ambient audio (speeches, noises, music) would you need?
-What about background music? (mind legal rights for non private use)
-Any titles? Vote of thanks, acknowledgment or list of participants?
-What length of video you need?
-Need 4k of just Full HD?

Our Gear

For videos we use DSLRs, for audio external device. Editing (trimming, color correction, ...) is integral part of any offer unless we agree other way. No special CG (computer generated) effect are part of standard editing.

III. POST-PRODUCTION

Editing and any post-processes are inevitable part of any production for event photography or video. Editorial or Journalistic photos may have different post-processes depending on your actual requests so may not be fully finished by us.
This part is most demanding for time, especially video, so it takes more time the production. May takes days or weeks.
